Industry leader in the areas of IP technologies, routing, signaling, L2 and L3VPN overlay control, MPLS and GMPLS. Our services include developing and licensing LCPS software, a full featured GMPLS based control plane for transport networks. LCPS is deployed in optical transport networks today.
Product strategic services include corporate product strategy development, competitive market identification, roadmap and feature set definition, creation of development plans and schedules, system hardware and software architectures, software designs, and associated software development resources.
We develop leading edge system hardware and software architectures and development. We also provide research and experimentation in support of services, products and standardization LCPS and related services Open Source development, platform integration and customization – Notably with FRRouting and Quagga, BGP and IETF NVO3 style L3/L2/E VPN control.
LabN plays an active role in the IETF standards process to help create new protocol definition, existing protocol extensions, standardization strategies, standards representation and facilitation, and standards education and tracking.
Our team of industry experts can provide seminars and training on current and emerging standards. Topics of past seminars and trainings have included MPLS, GMPLS, MPLS-TP, ASON, RSVP-TE, IPsec, YANG, DetNet, Overlay network controllers, Multi-Level Networks and SDNs.
LabN provides network architecture and design, leveraging standards-based technologies RFP development and vendor evaluation.
LabN Control Plane Subsystem
LCPS is the LabN Control Plane Subsystem. It is software that provides a full featured control plane for transport networks. It is deployed in transport networks today and delivers the most advanced optical control plane available.
Virtual Network Control (VNC)
FRRouting (FRR) is an opensource project example where LabN provides development and consulting services.
FRR is an Internet routing protocol suite for Linux and Unix platforms that provides seamless integration with native Linux/Unix IP networking stacks and makes it a general-purpose routing stack applicable to a wide variety of use cases.
